GIBSON + RECODER / REDCAT CalArts Theater

Robischon artists Gibson + Recoder have scheduled a live projection performance on Monday, March 14th at the REDCAT CalArts Theater in downtown Los Angeles entitled, "Dark Chamber Discourse". The artists manipulate the light beams emitted from their 35mm film projectors with celluloid loops, gels, crystals and even hand gestures, achieving phantasmic effects akin to the shimmering lights of early cinema.
