BERNAR VENET / ISC Lifetime Achievement Award

Coinciding this month with the installation of his large-scale sculpture, "Disorder: 9 Uneven Angles" in New York's Union Square, Robischon Gallery wishes to congratulate artist Bernar Venet who will also be receiving the International Sculpture Center's prestigious Lifetime Achievement in Contemporary Sculpture Award on February 29th alongside renowned artist Kiki Smith. The ISC's Board of Trustees established the Lifetime Achievement Award in 1991 to recognize individual sculptors who have made exemplary contributions to the field of sculpture. All award recipients - including Robischon artists Manuel Neri ('06) and Judy Pfaff ('14), and gallery-exhibited artists Christo ('04) and Robert Rauschenberg ('96) - are considered masters of sculptural processes and techniques.
