ANN HAMILTON / Site Santa Fe: "20 Years / 20 Shows: SUMMER"

Now showing as part of Site Santa Fe's exhibition entitled "20 Years / 20 Shows: SUMMER", visitors will have a second chance to see Robischon Gallery artist Ann Hamilton's sprawling installation, common SENSE · the animals (2014-2015) previously exhibited at the Henry Gallery in Seattle, WA. The installation explores “touch” as the sense that is common to all animals species. Created in part from Hamilton’s extensive engagement with the Ornithology collection at the University of Washington’s Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture, the artist states that the work intends to address “the infinitude and threatened extinctions we share across species – a lacrimosa, and elegy for a future being lost.”

"20 Years / 20 Shows: SUMMER" will be on view through October 4th, for more information please visit their website: http://sitesantafe.org/exhibitions/
